The Visitor Studies Association is offering it's Fall regional workshop in
Seattle!

Making Logic Models Work For You!: Enhancing Creation, Collaboration and
Communication <http://visitorstudies.org/workshops/upcoming-workshops>
*November 6, 2013 / 9:00 am - 12:00 pm*
*Mary Jackson, Woodland Park Zoo*
*University of Washington, Seattle : *UW Tower, 22nd floor, Magnolia Room

In this half-day workshop you’ll learn about logic models and how they can
streamline the development, implementation, evaluation and communication of
your program. Commonly used by a variety of museum and non-profit
stakeholders, collaborative development of logic models helps clarify and
build consensus of program goals. They are also invaluable when engaging
funders in your program successes. Through hands-on activities and
discussion we’ll cover the basic concepts of a logic model, discuss
theories of change that support the connection between activities and
outcomes, and practice developing your own logic models. Whether you’re
interested in improving your own abilities or would like to feel more
confident facilitating the development of logic models at your own
institution, this workshop is for you.

Space is limited! Registration is due on or before Wednesday, October
30thto guarantee your seat. Click
