I think I've seen someone else post about this, but wanted to share another resource (a web chat, below) for those preparing an observing session for this first ever "International Observe the Moon Night" September 18, 2010 -- http://observethemoonnight.org/ 
If you are planning on holding an event, please register it on our website so it can be seen by the public.  The website also includes information about how this exciting event was inspired, information and activities about the Moon and missions to the Moon, information about InOMN events at InOMN partner institutions, ideas on how to host your own event, and more!   

Want to know more?  The Lunar and Planetary Institute's next MyMoon webcast is Wednesday, August 25th at 8pm Eastern Time. Our guest will be LRO education lead Brooke Hsu. Brooke will tell us all about International Observe the Moon Night. The rest of the conversation is up to you!
