ASTC RAPS for 2004

There are a total of five RAPS scheduled this year on a wide variety of
topics.  A complete listing--dates and descriptions--is posted at
www.astc.org/profdev/raps2004.htm.

The series kicks off with the following opportunity to address a hot topic
in a warm place:

"IT, The Next Generation," February 20-21
Need help in planning your next information technology upgrade? Join your
ASTC colleagues for this RAP hosted by Florida's Orlando Science Center.
Discussion will include open-source software, e-commerce, ticketing, Linux
operating systems, interactive kiosks, wireless networks, and other IT uses
on the exhibit floor. Software and hardware suppliers will participate,
listening to our needs while we learn about their latest offerings. Cost is
