Anyone have any great solutions for managing an organization's digital
photo library, in a way that makes everything accessible to everyone
on the organization's office network?

Let's say you have 10,000 photos, and you want to be able to tag them,
caption them, add credit information, and make it so that anyone in
the building can connect to the database and access and/or change the
information, upload new images, download photos to plunk into their
InDesign document, etc. from their own computer. Wherever the photos
and meta-information are stored needs to be able to be backed up. All
Macs here.

Suggestions for solutions that work great for you, or reasons you
found iPhoto to be terrific/inadequate for this task?

thanks.
