ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hello from DragonflyTV at Twin Cities Public Television. You may know us as
the PBS kids’ series that’s all about real kids doing real science. Last
year, in our fifth season, we shot our inquiry-based investigations on
location in science centers across the nation. The resulting seven shows,
which we call DragonflyTV: GPS ‘Going Places in Science,’ are a testament to
the remarkable resources that science museums and science centers offer
their communities. And for the first time, these institutions are featured
on every episode of a PBS kids’ series! (These episodes are now airing
across the country: please check your local listings or visit
dragonflytv.org for broadcast schedules.)

We are currently recruiting science museum professionals to participate in
an evaluation of DragonflyTV: GPS video segments. This feedback will be
valuable to us as we begin our second season, partnering with other science
centers across the nation. We are looking for education directors, exhibit
directors, and public relations directors to watch 4 DragonflyTV video
segments, each approximately 6-7 minutes in length, and complete an online
evaluation. Your total time commitment would be approximately 1 hour.

We are still setting the exact dates for the survey, but expect it will
happen in late June/early July. You will receive an honorarium of $100 after
receipt of your feedback, and you may keep the DVD for use in your own
programming.

The research is being conducted by Dr. Barbara Flagg, Director of Multimedia
Research. Please let me know if you are interested in participating and we
will send you further details.
