I work for the Miami Science Museum and we are running a campaign right
now.  I'm the official database administrator for the museum.  We are using
Raiser's Edge.  Its a very detailed software, aimed specifically at
non-profit organizations.  You can check out the Web site at
www.blackbaud.com.  However, due to its extreme detail, you will need to do
the training.
