Dear ASTC Colleagues:

Please consider submitting a proposal to Strand 6 (Science Learning in Informal Contexts) of the annual international conference (this year in Puerto Rico!) of NARST, the National Association for Research in Science Teaching. I can say without a doubt that you'll find a great community at this conference, smart folks who are insightful with their feedback and gracious with their time. The Journal of Research in Science Teaching (JRST) is NARST's premier research journal, and this is a great venue for vetting ideas that you might later submit for publication in JRST. The call for proposals is here:
http://www.narst.org/abstracts2013/docs/2013NARST_Call_for_Proposals.pdf
I apologize for the late notice as proposals are due August 15, but please do try to submit to Strand 6 (Science Learning in Informal Contexts). We are making a concerted effort to make sure that more of the good work of the ASTC community is seen by this group. Thanks!

Sincerely,
David and Heather
