Hello,

OMSI is currently investigating different methods of building sustainable exhibits (see the sidebar on page 3 of the current issue of ASTC Dimensions magazine for details). By the time the 2004 ASTC conference rolls around, we will have completed 6000sq ft of exhibitory using a range of "green" techniques and environmentally-friendly materials. We are hoping to share our efforts with you at next years conference and are looking for additional participants for a panel/showcase.

Is anyone else out there currently implementing "green" strategies for exhibit building? What materials do you use? Is it cost effective? How does your institution design exhibits for sustainability? What were the successes and challenges of your approach? These are some of the issues we would like to delve in to.

Please feel free to contact me off list if you are interested in co-presenting a session.

Thanks
