Both.
Picasa is great for organizing and manipulating your local picture cache 
and posting them to a blogspot blog (if you have one), and flickr is great 
for online storage and display (as long as you pay the $20 yearly fee to 
keep all your pictures with their original resolution).  I also agree that 
flickr has better social features: tagging, comments, notes on top of 
pictures, etc.  Has anyone formed an ASTC flickr group?

greetings all - 
 
i am looking into a starting a free (or relatively inexpensive) photo 
database that is publicly accessible online.  i've read about flickr and 
picasa (and i'm sure there are more out there), so if anyone has opinions 
about which is better to use, i'd appreciate the insight.
