ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
Karen Cooper who led the Native American museum training programs at
NMAI until recently sent this note:
Eric Jolly is Cherokee and the director of the Minnesota Museum of
Science and might be interested in a collaboration, or have done a
collaboration in MN.
Also the American Indian Science and Engineering Society might have some
ideas. American Indian societies were proficient in astronomy,
horticulture, animal behavior, mathematics, chemistry, medicine, etc.
and AISES, at least at one time, produced some materials about Native
science and engineering.
