ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Around the Great Lakes, the pressing environmental issues include the
impact of invasive plants and animal species, overfishing and the
reproductive failure of native fish, loss of coastal wetlands and
habitats along tributaries that feed the Great Lakes, historical
contamination from mining and manufacturing and the impact of toxic
contaminants that persists in those waters. And you already mentioned
global warming--that too is a topic of discussion for the Great Lakes
region.
