ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Does anyone use a scanner system to check tickets at your entrance but allow for reentry to the galleries? We are implementing a "print-at-home" ticket and a scanning solution that "kills" the ticket after the first scan to preclude multiple tickets being printed and used. However, we allow unlimited reentry to our exhibit galleries for those that want to picnic outside or use our café which is outside of our main entrance. We thought of going to a hand stamp solution as they exit since their ticket cannot be scanned twice. But we are getting some resistance to that plan. Any other solutions out there that are being used successfully? Thanks. And Happy Holidays!
