ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hello all,

What are some of your favorite/best outreach activities? I'm working on
developing new activities for our various off-site events (community
festivals, volunteer/career fairs, etc.), and trying to balance the
(sometimes) opposing forces of cool versus cheap and easy. These kits need
to be easily transportable, not very messy, and fairly quick to do, but I
also want them to be high-interest and engaging. Some things I've done
before are star clocks and cartesian divers, but I want more of a wow
factor, for those times when a Van de Graaff generator just isn't
situationally appropriate. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Thanks,
Isabel
