Lynn,

I have a book called "Natural Wonders" that was put together by the Minnesota Children's Museum and the MN Office of Environmental Assistance. (800 877 6300). It is a "guide to early childhood for environmental educators" and may be useful to you. You also might want to check out Project Learning Tree http://www.plt.org/

good luck!

Hi all,

I work at the Brooklyn Children's Museum and am creating a teachers'
guide for a unit called "My Green Community," which will be used by
teachers from PK-2 to explore their neighborhood. I am looking for great
resources and activities for early childhood on nature and
sustainability. Specifically, I am interested in more activities about
trees, plants, insects, water, food (consumption and access), waste
management and disposal, and energy consumption.

If you have any suggestions for early childhood, they would be greatly
appreciated!
