An interesting museum that has opened up just outside of Albuquerque, is:
The Legends of New Mexico Museum

"The museum offers periodic lectures and art programs, call (505) 867-8600
or check www.legendsmuseum.com for schedule. Museum hours are:
Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm and Sunday, 1 pm-5 pm. Admittance is $5.00 for
adults, $3.00 for seniors and children 8-12, under 8 are admitted free. The
museum is located at Traditions!-A Festival Marketplace at exit 257, off
I-25 in the town of Algodones, half way between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
