Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Dave's death due to liver failure shocked everyone.  To help the healing
process, please join his friends and colleagues at a memorial service to
celebrate Dave's life at 7:00pm on the Summer Solstice (Monday, June 20th)
at Pacific Science Center.

Dave requested that the memorial be at the Science Center and also asked
that donations -- in lieu of other remembrances -- be made in his name to
Pacific Science Center or United Way.

The Science Center is still considering how to best memorialize Dave's
contribution to the Science Center during his long tenure at the
institution.  His wonderful web site of exhibit images from Science Centers
around the world will also be moved to the Science Center's server.

More details will be sent as soon as they are known.
