FREE Hands-On Astronomy Workshop for Informal Educators
May 7-9, 2008
Pacific Science Center - Seattle, WA

• A three-day (expenses paid) workshop offering fun techniques to  
interpret basic astronomical concepts as well as the latest events  
and discoveries
• Training on inquiry-based and hands-on methods of astronomy learning
• Toolkit of materials for activities covering three major themes in  
astronomy
• Sessions for trying activities with live audiences
• Opportunities for networking, brainstorming, and reflection on how  
to start/adapt astronomy programming
• An Online Community for additional learning opportunities and  
networking beyond the workshop
• New astronomy programs with your visitors back at home!
