I have heard of local news stations outfitting local schools with weather stations for free to enhance their forecasting capabilities. Might be worth looking in to...

Subject: weather station

We are interested in installing a wireless weather station on our roof, with a data display inside.

Does anyone have experience with wireless models? There must be a thousand choices. many more than the last time I looked at weather stations some time ago.

Cost wise, we don't want to go above the mid range. Prices range from less than $100 to about $5000.

Our audience is kids up through elementary school and their families.

Thanks so much,

Lynn Cole
