You'll find I am the space cadet here....(hmmm uniquely phrased) I wanted to
forward this to you as this is an IMAX film I had wanted to bring here and
use as a fundraiser.....just FYI....perhaps if they actually fly the
shuttles again we can put this out there as an idea to have as an event
AFTER Barb Morgan returns to earth (she's scheduled to fly in 05)_....we
won't get her now, I've all ready made a request and been turned down due to
her training schedule.

We will be opening the IMAX film "Space Station" in March and have a special
opportunity to have NASA Astronaut William "Shep" Shepherd here at the
museum on opening day for a series of events. Shep was one of the
astronauts in the film. I am looking for clever or unique event ideas, or
things your museums may have done to promote the film opening. We are
planning to do some kind of family event (perhaps a breakfast with Shep,
show the film & follow with a lecture), and an evening fundraising event
($50 for cocktails, the film and a talk with Shep). I would love to hear
your ideas or success stories.
