Just to whet your appetite, there are other fun things to do in Chicago while the conference is happening:

Taste of Chicago (stuff yourself silly on Chicago restaurant treats)
visiting all 10 of the Museums in the Parks (we're a blast!)
Cubs games (IF you can get tickets...)
White Sox games (you CAN get tickets...)
the July 3 fireworks (with you & 1 million of your closest friends)
the July 4 fireworks (yes, there really are 2 fireworks displays in Chicago)
the Grant Park Music Festival in Millennium Park (a free classical music series)
getting a City Pass (it's easy to visit 6 attractions for one low price)
walking along miles of lakefront parks and pedestrian paths (just watch out for the bicycles)
cruising Lake Michigan (it's not the Bahamas, but it's still pretty cool)
hang out at the beach (again, it's not the Bahamas, but sitting on the beach in the shadow of the Hancock Building is neat)
shop at Water Tower Place, along Michigan Ave. and along State Street (leave even more of your money behind in Chicago)
check out the buildings that weren't destroyed by the 1871 Great Chicago Fire (all 2 of them)

Hope to see you planetarium folks here soon!

Michelle
