ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We used one in a recent astronomy exhibition to allow people to see
what's inside a telescope. I glued the lenses to half of the scope
and made the other half removable. The scope was still usable, but
people could look through it then remove half of the tube and see the
configuration of lenses. It was a bit of a challenge to maintain
because some people wanted to try to remove the lenses, but overall I
think it served its purpose. We also had a whole one attached to a
tripod on a lazy susan that people could use. When aimed at a corner
of the room, they could see a tiny phrase taped to the wall which of
course they would see upside down. They could also turn the scope
the other direction and look out the window.
