ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Monday, May 11, ASTC is hosting the first youth programs discussion forum:
"How has the economic downturn affected your plans for summer programs,"
using new materials from ASTC's Handbook for Youth Programs now available on
ASTC Connect. Guest facilitators for this discussion will be Don Wittrock,
New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences and Lisa Hoover, Chabot Space &
Science Center.

If you've never participated in an ASTC forum, here's how you can join the
discussion. Login to <http://www.astc.org/astc_connect/login/index.php>
ASTC Connect . From the ASTC Connect main page, enter the Youth Programs
area and use the one-time enrollment key 'youth' to enroll yourself. You'll
find ASTC's Handbook for Youth Programs document as background.

The forum runs through email and the ASTC Connect website. When you click on
"reply" at the bottom of an email from the forum, you will be taken to the
website, where you'll log in with your username and password. You need to be
logged into ASTC Connect for a post to be distributed to all participants in
a session. After you create a new post, you will have time to view and edit
it before it is logged as part of the forum or workshop. Once it is posted,
it becomes part of the discussion thread in the ASTC Connect forum topic
area. Feel free to contact me at [log in to unmask] with any questions.

Hope you can join the conversation!
