The information below is about a science center audience survey done by
Reach Advisors. There will be a session at the ASTC Annual Conference next
week as well as a conference call. This may be of interest to you.

Findings from Survey of Science Center Audiences to Be Presented
Reach Advisors and ASTC are now wrapping up a survey of more than 14,000
core users of 50 science centers and museums in the United States, Canada,
Australia, and the United Kingdom. Results will be presented at the ASTC
Annual Conference in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 18, at 2:00 p.m., at
a session entitled "A Taxonomy of Visitors: Understanding Science Center
Audiences." 

On Thursday, October 23, at 1:00 p.m. ET, join Reach Advisors for a free,
related conference call, entitled "'Preserve Past, Teach Present, Inspire
Future:' The Relevance of Science Museums in Today's Communities." Space is
limited; e-mail Susie Wilkening at [log in to unmask] to reserve a
spot.
