Subject: Survey about on-site conservation action ideas
Date: Sat, 17 Feb 2007 18:37:32 -0700

ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related
institutions.
*****************************************************************************

A short survey about conservation action opportunities for visitors in free
choice learning environments is currently being circulated to many AZA
members, with the full support of AZA¹s Conservation Education Committee.
Including other natural history/science education venues in this effort
would add greatly to the ³toolbox of ideas² that this survey will generate.

The survey includes four questions, but only the first one is essential to
answer: Please list or describe the conservation visitor action
opportunities your institution provides on-site (both self-guided and
programmed activities).

A summary ³toolbox² document, with photos of the exhibit/activity (if
submitted) will be sent to all participants.

Please go to this link to download the survey (also includes an idea
prompter list of existing conservation action activities, and other
background on the subject): http://www.ecos.us/survey/survey.html

Sincerely,

Chip Isenhart

Psychology, Fostering Sustainable Behavior, NAI, AZA, and the Informal

could be included.
