ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
Hi everyone,
I will be attending the Association of Science and Technology Centerıs
Annual Conference in Philadelphia as a part of the NASA team. I will be
showcasing a computer simulation of NASAıs new launch vehicles, the Ares I
and the Ares V.
The simulation is called ICON (Integrated Concept of Operations) and will be
available for use in museums. A visitor at your museum would use an air
mouse to drive the rockets to the Moon or the International Space Station.
Also, you can go inside the vehicles and see the payloads. This program
would be great as a theater program or in a kiosk.
Please stop by the NASA exhibit and look for a large 50-inch screen with the
ICON program projected on it. This program would make a great addition to
your museumıs exhibits and educational programs. I look forward to seeing
you. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
Thanks!!
