Thank you, Adrian. I couldn't have put it better myself. I might also point
out that the history of Jewish immigration to the Central Plains is very
poorly documented and is often only discovered in the remains of material
culture. I'm trying to find the actual reference in my extensive
non-electronic "database", but there's an excellent historic archeological
report on Jews in the Far West (primarily Colorado and New Mexico).
