Dear Asa,

You asked about interesting archaeological biographies. During my
study I came across Bruce G. Trigger's book on Gordon Childe. Its
title is: Gordon Childe. Revolutions in Archaeology. It was published
in London by Thames and Hudson in 1980.

Trigger's book is a thorough, academic, well written account of the
life of the famous australian/english archaeologist Childe. It
focuses on the theoretical contributions Childe made to archaeology.
