Several people responded with inquiries to the previous NYAC posting
concerning a possible 106 workshop to be held in western New York State
possibly this fall. The link below leads to the SRI website where a description
of the one day course is provided.

http://www.srifoundation.org/pdf/WKSHP_1.PDF

If you are unfamiliar with the 106 process or unsure that it applies to you
consider the following questions:

When a client asks you to comply with Section 106 of the National Historic
Preservation Act, do you know what that means?
Are you familiar your responsibilities under Section 106?
The revised regulations for Section 106 include requirements for consultations -
do you know what your role is in these consultations?

This one-day class will help all CRM professionals and agency staff with
understanding their responsibilities and roles in the Section 106 process.

An invitation to register along with the notice providing the date, time and of
the workshop will sent out when the arrangements are confirmed.
