Deer HistArchers: It seems my post on Friday appeared a lot more antagonistic
than it was intended. I not only have no quarrell with the NPS NCPTT website,
I still highly recommend it ( go see it at
http://www.ncptt.nps.gov/index2.stm). My personal displeasure with "frames" as
a website organizational tool came across as a slam against the website. Mea
Maxima Culpa! The NCPTT website has more useful information per cyber-ounce
than almost any other site on the web!

After rechecking the ncptt website, I went back and checked other "frames"
organized websites I am familiar with. NCPTT has indeed rewritten some of its
programming to address some user problems. Most others have not. One firearms
site would not let me out without exiting internet explorer, while others had
changed a little bit and one could do some navigating within a "linked group"
with back and forward buttons.
