Archaeologist/Field Director

 

TRC, which has one of the nation's largest cultural resources practices,
has an opening for an archaeologist in our Ellicott City, Maryland
office. 

 

We are seeking an archaeologist with an advanced degree and supervisory
experience to work as a Field Director and/or Principal Investigator on
survey, testing, and data recovery projects primarily in the Mid
Atlantic region.  Applicants must document successful completion of
archaeological research in the region, including field, lab, analytical,
and reporting experience. Candidate must be able to travel to execute
field projects, manage field crews, and complete technical reports under
minimal supervision. Salary range is competitive and based on
experience. The advanced degree requirement may be waived if sufficient
field supervisory experience is demonstrated.

 

These are full time permanent positions with a 401(k) program, medical
and dental benefits, and paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation.
Salaries are negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
