I was not the one that said that historians were just "telling stories".   I
was in fact criticizing that postion which takes the very important
cautionary contributions of postmodern thought into absurd nihilistic
lengths.  The recognition that science contains a subjective element does not
mean that it doesn't have an objective element.  I never said  that artists
were mere story tellers, or meant to imply  there was no art in science, or
truth in art.  I also neve meant to imply the science was the only means of
knowledge or truth.
