The deadline for signing up for the continuing-education workshops to be held
on 5 January, just before the 2000 SHA Conference on Historical and
Underwater Archaeology in Quebec City, Canada, has been extended until Friday
17 December 1999. All workshops to be held at the Quebec Hilton, with the
exception of the Saturated Artifacts workshop, which will be held at the
Centre de Conservation du Quebec.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn about an exciting array of new topics
from recognized experts in the field!

(All costs in U.S.$; nonstudent price listed first, then  SHA student member
price.)

Full-day workshops include:
- Coping with Saturated Artifacts: Conservation Workshop for the
Nonspecialist ($80/$50)

- Cultural Landscapes ($175/$140)

Half-day workshops include:
- Practical Forensic Bioarchaeology for the Historical Archaeologist ($55/$40)
- Identification and Analysis of Military Artifacts ($55/$40)

- Dating Glass Tableware 1800-1940 ($55/$40
