Apparently, a similar seal was found in Quebec in the ice house of
Lord Aylmer, who was appointed Governor of Lower Canada between 1830
and 1835.

I found abstracts of the google book and picture of the seal typing
"bordeaux huile d'olive "surfine clarifiée"" into google.fr.
Unfortunately, no other useful links came up.
