In addition to corporate and trade association home pages, I have
been able to get fairly detailed information for consumer products
from various government pages dealing with patents and trade marks.
In several cases, I have been able to get exact intro dates for
various logos, phrases, and designs (the US trade mark page has
better time depth than that for patents). Odds and ends of corporate
history are also sometimes present, as may be comparative graphics of
a given trade mark or script style. My book marks are on another
machine so you'll have to search for them (I hope that satisfies some
of your harsher critics).
