Another battery oil bottle story:
During a survey of the kennebec River here in Maine after the
Edwards Dam was removed last summer, we found several such bottles
associated with RR discards. The RR runs along the east shore of the river.
The bottles were clear, machine made, 10.5 cm tall, 3.6 cm dia. at the base,
and embossed with "WATERBURY BATTERY OIL - THE WATERBURY BATTERY CO.
WATERBURY, CONN. U.S.A."
