The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has announced
examinations for the following classifications: Environmental Planner
(Archaeology) and Associate Environmental Planner (Archaeology).  The
bulletins for these examinations can be found at the following URL:
www.dot.ca.gov/hq/jobs/Openexam.htm.   Information on obtaining the
required state application form is available at:
www.dot.ca.gov/hq/jobs/state.htm.
The final filing date for both examinations is August 13, 1998.
