Dear fellow HISTARCH subscribers,
 
I apologize on behalf of my grad student, Karen Metheny, for the business
with the attached file.  Please don't let the temporary inconvenience of
receiving a file you didn't want to download & couldn't open anyway (this,
at least was my experience--including the extra annoyance of having the
d---d thing try to open every time I tried to drag it into the trash!) set
you against the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology.  I know Karen
had the best of intentions, but we all know that the best intentions oft go
awry.
 
The gist of the message (I gather) is that there is a student paper
competition for the Altoona, PA, CNEHA meetings, and students who are
interested in participating should contact Karen at [log in to unmask]
 
Once again, apologies!  This gaffe will not be repeated.  So, let's get
back to sharing our research info and not turn this into an endless thread
of crankiness and flames.
