I am in the process of analyzing a historic collection from a testing effort
in Sewanee, TN. In this collection is a single horseshoe. I have perused
some of the trade catalogs and Noel Hume concerning farrier and
blacksmithing, but I was looking for more discussion on late 19th century
horseshoes. I thought that you all may be able to help me. If you have any
references just send them my way.
