Dear Histarchers

Leicester University and English Heritage have just published the 
research framework volume for the East Midlands of England. It covers 
the Palaeolithic to present with chapters on the early-modern period (by 
me) and on the industrial period by Garry Campion. It is available from 
Oxbow at £19-95 under the title Archaeology of the East Midlands edited 
by N. Cooper. An earlier version without illustrations and prior to 
final revisions is availavable for perusal on the web at
