Awhile ago I posted about the 1853 Detroit map by Henry Hart. Just wanted
to let everyone know that I hounded the staff enough at the Burton
Historical Collection of the Detroit Public Library until they finally
located it. Like Mark Branstner mentioned, there was a good copy and a
not-so-good copy. Took about 40 digital shots of the good copy and they
came out real well with nice detail. A very valuable resource for those of
us doing archaeology in Detroit.
