Hi Al,

A colleague of mine [Martha Williams] is a historical archaeologist who
has worked extensively in Virginia and Maryland on 18th-19th C. sites
and may be able to help with your query. She works as a research
archaeologist at Christopher Goodwin in Maryland, but lives here in
Northern Virginia.

Martha's contact address is as follows:

Goodwin and Associates
337 E 3rd Street
Frederick, MD 21701
==========================
tel. (301) 694-0428
fax  (301) 695-5237

Sorry I don't have an e-mail address for her (I'm not sure she has one).
Anyway, hope this is of some help. Best of luck with your research.

Cheers,

Clay
