Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can identify an artifact for me. It looks sort of like a toy bayonet (about 2 inches long), but may be something entirely different. It is metal, perhaps a copper alloy and has "PAT." On the side, but no date or number. It was found adjacent to a mid to late 19th-century house in West Rutland, VT.

Please contact me at [log in to unmask] if you think you could help and I will send you a photo.
Thank you.
