Concerning information about the Donner party excavations.  Anita is
correct about Bruce Hawkins being involved at one point.  Bruce was
involved in the excavation of the Donner-Reed site in the area close
to the Salt Flats near the Great Salt Lake in Utah and a book was
produced.  The title of the book is "Excavation of the Donner-Reed
Wagons: Historic Archaeology along the Hastings Cutoff".  Hope this
