THe Minnesota Historical Society's Archaeology Department seeks a
full-time Archaeologist III to direct and conduct several cultural
resource research projects throughout the state. Requirements: Masters
Degree (minimum) in archaeology, anthropology or closely related field;
at least 3 years of related historic archaeology project
supervisory/management experience; knowledge of broad range of research
procedures, methods, licensing and permit standards; demonstrated ability
to bring projects to a timely ocnclusion is a necessity; ability to
travel extensively statewide; strong written and verbal communication
skills; and ability to work well with the public and others. Position has
a full benefits package and a starting salary around $2,900/month. To
