My name is Sara Warneke and I am a medieval and early modern European
historian working at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University, Victoria,
Australia. My interest in archeology is both to sate my amateur interest
and to serve my students - I often use the work of archeologists in my
medieval teaching units. My personal research interest cover medieval
concepts of nation and culture, particularly concepts of national and
cultural identity. I joined this list to be an interested observer rather
than an active participant, but seeing the wide range of people introducing
themselves I thought I'd do the same.
