Aloha All,

Does anyone have source information on ball & chain or ball &
shackles combinations?

I've got a specimen from Texas (Ft. Bend County) that looks quite
suggestive and we're trying to figure out the approximate time period
from which it comes. We've got some pretty decent educated guesses,
but if you have anything more concrete, your information is warmly
welcomed.

I'm happy to send you a picture of the item.
