The Moscow Circus toured in the early 60s (a world tour that included
Australia) with a Sputnik aerial acrobat show. The sideshows included
Sputnik theme games and Sputnik toys you could win, one of which I
recently unearthed on a domestic site dated c1860s - 1960s. The Sputnik
was a useful terminus post quem for the abandonment of the site.
