Mary Ellen is BRILLIANT! Some thoughts to consider, however...

1. The TPQs will have to be specific to geography. The Aussies will have
different TPQs than Americans in many cases, I suspect. I also suspect
that we in the Basin will have some variation from the seaboard areas...

2. Who is going to maintain updates? If I were to discover a textual or
arch record source that changes a TPQ, who would I tell?

3. How will we resolve debates on the validity or confidence level?

4. How big are we willing to grow this resource? (And, how will it be
paid for?). e.g. will we add ceramic marks? Pictures of little hubners
and do-dads to aid identification?

5. Could we make the lists searchable?

I think this is a very interesting idea. Perhaps we could pow-wow about
it in Salt Lake? An informal meeting after papers one afternoon?

My best,
Tim
