I think to become a full-fledged Histarch 'member of the club' member,
one must accidentally send at least one personal, off-list post
on-list.  Nothing like the experience of supposedly sending an email to
one Histarch member, then getting that frightening reply: "Your message
has been successfully delivered to 806 recipients."  A modern day rite
of passage.
