We are pleased to tell the members of Histarch that is was announced at the 2013 SHA annual meeting in England that the next recipient of the J. C. Harrington Medal will be Theresa Singleton.

The award will be presented to her in Quebec City at the 2014 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology, and she will be recognized for her contributions to historical archaeology and our understanding of African diaspora histories. 

Congratulations to Theresa!
